Apoth3cary is saying the Turks were originally a Barbarian tribe. which is true but does not mean Turks are still Barbarians. i am a descendant of Anglo-Saxons, who where Barbarians, but that does not mean i am a Barbarian now. there is no reason to be upset. history is history. there is no need to deny what happened in the past.

The Genocide wasnt even against Greeks.....it was against the Armenians, who weren't invading at all, so explain that one. And they weren't trying to take Turkish lands, they were trying to liberate their people, and for a while they had western support for that. The Turks are the ones who took them, they are from the Steppes, originally, along with the Huns...who helped bring down the Western Roman Empire. I dont hate Turks, I hate their ancestors! Just give the land back!

I hate him for the burning of, oddly enough........only the Greek and Armenian quarters of Smyrna, or "Izmir", the Turkish slaughter of the name.
